JAL Introduces Around-the-World 'Global Explorer' Fares

El Segundo, CA, Friday, March 31, 2006: Japan Airlines (JAL) introduces an around-the-world product that makes global travel easier. With access to a network of 16 international carriers and more than 500 destinations to choose from, 'Global Explorer' fares offer exceptional value and flexibility for both business and leisure travel. Prices are based on origin, class of service (First, Business, or Economy), the number of continents and countries visited and a specified mileage cap. 'Global Explorer' itineraries may include, along with JAL (JAL, JALways and Japan Asia Airways), travel on Aer Lingus, Air Pacific, American Airlines®*, Australian Airlines, British Airways*, Cathay Pacific*, Finnair, Gulf Air, Iberia, LAN*, LANPERU* and Qantas. Some codeshare flights may not be eligible. 'Global Explorer' fares allow travel for up to a full year. Travelers on these fares may stopover at up to 15 destinations, depending on fare level. An around-the-world itinerary could include, for example, a South Pacific island, some of the great cities of Europe, North and South America and Africa and Asia.

(2) 26,000 MPM level is not available for travel originating from the U.S.
(3) First and Business Class fares are available at 34,000 MPM level only.
