American Airlines resumes Chicago - Tokyo/Narita Service
Starting March 19, 2027, American Airlines will launch nonstop service between Tokyo Narita (NRT) and Chicago (ORD). Complementing JAL's existing Tokyo Haneda–Chicago service, the partnership will provide customers with greater choice and convenient access to destinations across Japan and Asia, leveraging American Airlines' extensive network from Chicago (ORD).
JAL & American Airlines: More Choices with 3 Daily Flights from New York
JAL and American Airlines currently operate three daily nonstop flights between Tokyo Haneda (HND) and New York (JFK). At JFK Airport, both airlines operate from Terminal 8, enabling seamless connections from the United States, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America to Japan.
Eligible customers can also enjoy access to a range of premium lounges, including the Admirals Club®, Greenwich Lounge™ and Soho Lounge™, offering a comfortable and convenient travel experience before departure or during connections.
Mileage Program
JMB members can earn miles from or redeem miles for American Airlines' eligible flights. Furthermore, JMB elite members such as JMB Diamond and JGC Premier members can earn bonus miles in addition to regular flight miles when traveling on American Airlines, based on their membership status.
