International Self Check-in Machines (I-SCM)
1 Check in easily without waiting in line at the Check-in counter!
 - Machines may also be used by passengers who are checking luggage.
2 Choose your own seats!
 - You can choose your own seats using a seat map of the aircraft.
3 Manage your mileage!
 - When you check in using a JMB or JAL card, your mileage will be credited to your JAL Mileage Bank account. 
 - I-SCMs can also be used to manage the mileage programs of our partner airlines.

Passengers using e-tickets
* I-SCM check-in may not be available to the following passengers.
  • ・Passengers with seat restrictions (including passengers traveling with children under the age of two who do not have a reserved seat)
  • ・Passengers on codeshare flights which are operated by other airlines.
  • ・Passengers with a passport which are not usable with I-SCMs.
  • ・Passengers with seating upgrade awards
*Even when using I-SCM to check-in, passengers will be asked to show their ticket and/or passport to an airport officer to enable confirmation of their travel documents.

Gimpo Airports

Passengers using e-tickets
* I-SCM check-in may not be available to the following passengers.
  • ・Passengers with seat restrictions (including passengers traveling with children under the age of two who do not have a reserved seat)
  • ・Passengers on codeshare flights which are operated by other airlines.
  • ・Passengers with a passport which are not usable with I-SCMs.
  • ・Passengers without the pre-registered information (nation of residence and address in the US) necessary for entry to the United States
  • ・Passengers with seating upgrade awards
*Even when using I-SCM to check-in, passengers will be asked to show their ticket and/or passport to an airport officer to enable confirmation of their travel documents.
