Q : WHAT IS THE ELIGIBILITY FOR JAL JAPAN EXPLORER PASS?

Residence must be outside Japan. Passenger must hold a passport issued by a country other than Japan, or a Japanese passport holder with the right of permanent residence of a country other than Japan.
International itinerary must be Round Trip, Circle Trip, or Open Jaw within one same ticket and must be to/via Japan from outside Japan. A Japan inbound ticket number or reservation code is required at the time of purchase.
Passport information is required at the time of purchase.
Customers that do not meet these eligibility rules may be asked to purchase a new ticket when checking-in at the airport.
Q : HOW ARE ADULT, CHILD, AND INFANT TRAVEL PRICES APPLIED?

[Adult travel price] The adult travel price is applied to anyone aged 12 or over.
[Child travel price] The child travel price is applied to children aged between 3 and 11.
[Infant travel price] The infant travel price is applied to infants under the age of 2.
In all cases, the travel price is based on the passenger's age on the departure date.
Infants may not be provided a dedicated plane seat, meal, or hotel bed, etc.
