Ticket Service Fee other than in Japan Region
At Japan Airlines, Ticket Service Fee will apply in case of new ticket issuance and change of ticket.
For changes after the ticket purchase, Ticket Service Fee applies whether or not there are differences in amount of fare, tax, charges, or route change.

- There are some JAL airport counters, where other carriers handle ticketing on behalf of JAL. In those cases, the application of fees is determined based on their policy.
- In India, Ticket Service Fee does not apply to new ticket issuance, but to changes only.

New ticket issue
- Tickets for infants not occupying a seat
- Payment by JAL Ryoko-ken (including JAL Travel(JTS) Ryoko-ken)
Ticket change
- Tickets for infants not occupying a seat
- Changes by involuntary reason
Precautions
Common for new ticket issue and ticket change
- Ticket Service Fee applies per ticket.
- When separate tickets are purchased or changed at the same time as a series of journey, it is counted as one set and one Ticket Service Fee applies in total.
- No child discount applies.
- Ticket Service Fee applies to purchase or change of tickets with fares and itinerary which are not available on JAL website and mobile site and which must be processed through JAL reservation center or city/airport counters.
- The above Ticket Service Fee also applies to tickets with domestic flights only (including tickets with fares such as oneworld Yokoso/Visit Japan Fares).
Ticket change
- Ticket Service Fee applies to changes of tickets in addition to any rebooking fee required by fare rule of the ticket.
- Ticket Service Fee of the country where the change is processed will apply if the change is handled in the country other than the country of ticket purchase.
Refund
- Ticket Service Fee is not refundable.
