Requests regarding the stowage and use of power banks onboard
(Effective July 8, 2025)
In response to incidents involving smoke emissions and fires caused by power banks onboard, both domestically and internationally, we kindly request all passengers to cooperate with the following measures, effective July 8, 2025, in accordance with the request from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT):
- Please refrain from stowing power banks in the overhead compartments.
- When using power banks in the cabin, please ensure they are kept with you or placed in a location where their condition can be easily monitored, such as in the seat pocket.
We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring the safety and peace of mind for all customers.
