Termination of Codeshare and Mileage Partnership with Vistara (UK) (Last Updated on October 9, 2024)
Due to the merger of Vistara (India) into Air India (India), all Vistara operated flights will be permanently suspended as of Monday, November 11, 2024. Consequently, the mileage partnership between JAL and Vistara ended on Monday, September 30, 2024. Additionally, the codeshare between JAL and Vistara will also end on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
Please refer to the following information regarding reservations and ticket handling due to the termination of the partnership with UK.
〔1〕Tickets for Vistara-operated codeshare flights with JAL flight numbers
- For flights between Sunday, October 27, 2024, and Monday, November 11, 2024:
Your reservation will be transferred to a Vistara-operated flight. There will be no changes to the departure date, departure time, or arrival time. - For flights between Tuesday, November 12, 2024, and Thursday, September 25, 2025 (for tickets issued by Tuesday, September 3, 2024):
Your reservation will be transferred to Air India-operated flight. There will be no changes to the departure date, departure time, or arrival time.
Please note that if you wish to change your reservation or request a refund, all service fees will not be applied.
〔2〕Flight Miles Accumulation
Vistara (UK) flight numbers: For flights up to Monday, September 30, 2024.
Codeshare flights (JL) flight numbers: For flights up to Saturday, October 26, 2024.
Post-flight registration is possible within six months of the flight date. However, after Wednesday, September 25, 2024, post-flight registration of Vistara (UK) flight numbers will not be available on the JAL website and must be done by mail.

〔3〕 Vistara Award Tickets
For already booked tickets:
If the flight date is on or after Tuesday, October 1, 2024, all tickets will be refunded.
For reservation changes and refunds:
As of Monday, August 5, 2024, the JAL website no longer accepts requests. Please contact the JAL Contact Center. Ticket service fees and cancellation charges will not be applied.
