Extension of FLY ON status until March 31, 2022 (2021 service year) for FLY ON status members who qualified for the 2020 service year (Last Updated Aug 27, 2020)

Thank you for your continued patronage of the JAL Group.

 

In response to the Coronavirus, we have suspended or reduced services on some JAL Group routes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

 

In light of the unpredictable situation of the Coronavirus and to provide peace of mind to our FLY ON members during this time of uncertainty,

we will extend the same status for 2021 (until March 31, 2022) in accordance with your FLY ON status for 2020 which you have achieved during January - December 2019.

Eligible members

JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) members who have qualified for FLY ON status for the 2020 service year based on flight activity from January through December 2019

  • You do not need to register for this special measure.

Services not included in the FLY ON status extension

The following service is not available to customers whose FLY ON status is extended:

  • JMB Diamond/JGC Premier Service Selection 2021
  • JMB Diamond and JGC Premier members who qualify for the 2021 service year (until March 31, 2022) based on flight activity from January through December 2020 will be eligible to receive this service. More information about JMB Diamond/JGC Premier Service Selection 2021 will be announced to eligible members around late-November.
  • The statuses of partners who are currently registered for Partner Status for the 2020 service year (via JMB Diamond/JGC Premier Service Selection 2020) will be extended to the 2021 service year, and will remain valid until March 31, 2022.

Notes

  • If you achieve a FLY ON status from January to December 2020 that is higher than your FLY ON status for the 2020 service year, you will enjoy the higher FLY ON status (achieved on 2020 flights) for the 2021 service year.
  • We will inform you details of and when the 2021 FLY ON status cards will be sent later.
