You must obtain a valid visa before entering India. For details, please check with the Embassy of India in Japan or the Consulate General of India in Osaka.
The Government has now decided to make a graded relaxation in visa and travel restrictions for more categories of foreign nationals and Indian nationals who wish to enter or leave India on 22nd Oct 2020.
Therefore, it has been decided to permit all OCI and PIO card holders and all other foreign nationals intending to visit India for any purpose, except on a Tourist Visa to enter.
If the validity of such visas has expired, fresh visas of appropriate categories can be obtained from Indian Mission/Posts concerned.
In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection, the Government of India obliges airlines to submit information about all passengers. Customers who have booked tickets to India are kindly requested to submit the necessary information to Japan Airlines from the following, by 72hours before the time of departure. After that, please declare at the airport counter on the day of departure.
It is necessary for all passengers to (1) apply for the Self-Declaration form online and (2) upload the negative certificate of the RT-PCR test conducted within 72 hours before the start of the trip from the Delhi Airport website. After application, an e-mail confirming your registration will be sent to the applicant, so please save it on your mobile phone/tablet or carry a printed piece of paper with you.
