Partially Reopening of JAL First Class Lounge in Haneda International Airport and Narita International Airport

As a result of the continuous reduced flight and passenger activity related to the COVID-19 crisis, JAL First Class Lounge has been closed since April 27, 2020. The original closure was planned until end of May, 2020 and subsequently extended to June 30, 2020. Based on a careful review of current scheduled operations for July 2020, on July 1, 2020, we will begin reopening JAL First Class Lounge in Haneda International Airport and Narita International Airport with new improvements to reinforce your well-being.

  • JAL First Class Lounge in the main building at 4th Floor in Narita International Airport (NRT)

Temporally Changed Service

  • Full-service bar and meal as a replacement of self-service buffet.
  • JAL’s SALON in the JAL First Class Lounge will remain closed.
  • Sushi Bar named “Shushi Tsurutei” in HND will be temporally available in the JAL’s Table area
  • Shoe Shining service by JOHN LOBB will be temporally not available.
  • Kids room and jet-towel in the bathroom in the lounge will remain not available.

Notes

  • For those who are eligible for only Sakura Lounge is temporally accessible to JAL First Class Lounge, which is upper status area, without extra charge.
  • For your well-being and others in the lounge, a face mask and sanitizing your hand is strongly encouraged, but you can remove it to eat or drink.
  • In case of crowding in the lounge, you may be asked to wait to entree the lounge.
  • Some seats are not available to keep your social distancing with others.
  • Signs and floor decals to encourage spacing at the reception desk and JAL’s Table area to allow social distancing.
