Due to the coronavirus outbreak in Mainland China, the carrier has seen a decrease in travel demand and a number of countries are implementing travel restrictions for those that have visited the country during a specific period.
As a result, flight and cabin crew who may have operated flights to Mainland China are being affected by these regulations and going forward, the Company may be unable to offer scheduled services throughout its global network.
In response, the Company today announced the decision to implement the following changes, effective on flights between February 6 and March 28, 2020.
JAL call center will reach out to those customers with an applicable flight ticket by email or call in order to inform new flights or to accept refund processing.
You are able to confirm the new suggested flights number and flight schedule from the "Booking details" on the JAL website, and choose whether you agree or wish for another alternative flights.
If your booking was made at travel agency, please contact the travel agency where you booked your flights.
Please select "Agree" from "Booking details page" on JAL website.
Please select "Decline" from "Booking details page" on JAL website, JAL call center will reach out to you to confirm alternative flights. "JAL Reservation & Information" is available if you wish to confirm your flights immediately.
We will accept your cancellation at JAL website without cancellation fee. Please select "Cancel / Refund" from "Booking details page".
If you made your purchase through JAL call center, please contact us again for cancellation.
