The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare asks to take below actions before and after entering Japan for those who stayed in the "quarantine strengthening target area (* 1)" since when the areas were announced by the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare, or those who have stayed in the "entry restricted area (* 2)" in the past 14 days from the entry to Japan.
In addition, all passengers who have stayed in the entry restrcited area announced by Japanese Government (regardless of the date of addition to the list of entry restricted area) in the past 14 days from the etnry to Japan,will be required to take inspection upon arrival. Since 29th of July 2020, passengers are asked to wait at the facility designated by the quarantine station until the result is confirmed. Please note that passengers are to wait for few hours from the arrival until the result is confirmed.
Also, even if those passengers will be allowed to enter Japan by negative results, they will be required to avoid unnecessary or not urgent going out, and be required to stay at home or your own secured accommodation, etc. And also they are subject to health check byhealth agencies.
The following passengers will be considered as entering Japan during the strengthened Quarantine measures.

Starting from 0:00am (JST) March 9, all efficacy of single or multiple-entry visa issued by March 8 at Japanese Embassies or Consulates General in China or the Republic of Korea are suspended.
Visa exemption measures for Hong Kong and Macau, and the Republic of Korea are suspended.
Starting from 0:00AM (JST) March 21, all efficacy of single or multiple entry visas issued by March 20 at Japanese Embassies or Consulates in all areas of the Schengen member states (Iceland, Italy, Estonia, Austria, Holland, Greece, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Hungary, Finland, France, Belgium, Poland, Portugal, Malta, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg) or Ireland, Andora, Iran, United Kingdom, Egypt, Cyprus, Croatia, San Marino, the Vatican, Bulgaria, Monaco or Romania are terminated and visa exemption measures are suspended.
Starting from 0:00AM (JST) March 28, all efficacy of single or multiple entry visas issued by March 27 at Japanese Embassies or consulates in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, Viet Nam, Malaysia, Israel, Qatar, Democratic Republic of the Congo or Bahrain will be terminated and visa exemption measures will be suspended.
Starting from 0:00AM (JST) April 3, all efficacy of single or multiple entry visas issued by April 2 at Japanese Embassies or consulates in all countries or areas except in (*2) Designated areas of immigration restrictions under the Immigration Control Act are terminated and visa exemption measures are suspended.

International airports have strengthened their quarantine measures and may mandate wearing a mask or cloth face covering and health check (e.g. fever, cough, and breathing difficulties) upon arrival at the airport.
Also, there are countries that require travelers to stay at the location specified by the Quarantine or restrict activities such as transportation and accommodation use.

A resident or visitor travelling to the UK on or after June 8, 2020 must provide journey and contact details within 48 hours before arriving in the UK from the GOV.UK website.
They may be fined £100 if they refuse to provide their contact details in England.
Unless a resident or visitor have visited or stopped in countries not listed in exemptions of self isolation in the preceding 14 days, a resident or visitor arriving from Japan do not need to be self-isolated when arriving in the UK on or after July 10, 2020.

In accordance with the Philippine Government's instructions, from August 15, 2020, all passengers using public transportation, including aircraft, in the Philippines must wear a face shield. This is in addition to the mandatory use of face masks.
Please note all passengers departing the Philippines after August 15, 2020 will need to prepare the face shield themselves.
In addition, passengers are advised to accomplish the Electronic Case-Investigation Form (E-CIF) before arrival to expedite airport procedures. Applications can be made 3 days before departure.

All passengers arriving into Hong Kong will be required to undergo a medical test for COVID-19. The test, which involves providing a saliva sample, will be conducted at the airport before immigration and passengers will be required to wait for their test results for more than eight(8) hours or more. Passengers should prepare to carry with them all necessities in sufficient quantities before boarding.
Each country updates its restriction of entry to its country or quarantine measures from day to day due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
There have been reports of passengers not been able to enter a country or denied boarding by other airlines at the connecting airport despite having the travel documents that are usually acceptable for entry.
Customers are advised to check the relevant information from embassies, consulates, and health ornagizations of the destination country.
On selected routes, web check-in and use of KIOSK check-in machines at airport may be suspeneded for this reason.
