Check-In System Error at Haneda Airport

Japan Airlines domestic check-in system at Haneda airport encountered a technical fault from 5:45 am to 6:45am on June 3, 2009. During this time, check-in procedures could not be processed and resulted in the cancellation and delay of several domestic flights during the day.

JAL’s web check-in service for domestic flights departing from Haneda airport was also disrupted and unavailable for use from 5:45am to 9:08pm.

The technical glitch occurred when upgrading works were being performed on the domestic check-in system the night before.

We sincerely express our deep apologies to passengers who have been inconvenienced by the above situation. We will conduct further investigations into the matter and strive to prevent any such occurrences in the future.
