2. The prohibitions of carry -on "Matches and Lighters" from continent of China

In accordance with the notice from the Chinese Authority, effective April 7, 2008, matches and lighters in carry-on baggage to international and domestic aircraft departing from continent of China (exclusive of Hong Kong International Airport) are under the ban strictly.
Other rules may apply for the code-share flights operated by other carrier.
These items are prohibited when carried as checked baggage, too.
Please note that matches and lighters must be confiscated at security checkpoint.

It would be taken a longer time required for security checkpoint inspections than usual, so please come to the airport before enough time to the departure.
