Starting in winter 2018, JAL is launching new codeshares on Southeast Asia routes with Garuda Indonesia (Indonesia), Vietjet Air (Vietnam), and Vistara (India).
These new codeshares will expand travel options not only on international routes, but to major cities in Indonesia, Vietnam, and India as well, making it easier than ever to travel for business or fun!

Garuda Indonesia The Airline of Indoneshia SKY TEAM®

Garuda is Indonesia's national airline. It offers direct flights from Haneda, Narita, and Kansai to Indonesia (Jakarta and Denpasar of Bali) and will launch a Nagoya-Jakarta route in March of next year.
With a network of 22 international destinations and 69 cities in Indonesia, Garuda connects people throughout Indonesia and the world beyond.

Fly the new feeling vistara A TATA SIA JV

Since launching its first Delhi-Mumbai route on January 9, 2015, Vistara has continuously expanded its domestic network and now offers 730 flights weekly to 22 destinations throughout India. It currently operates only within India due to Indian restrictions on the international market, but aims to launch its first international route in 2020.


Vietjet is one of Vietnam's largest private airlines, with a growing network not only in Vietnam but across Asia. Vietjet offers a memorable air travel experience with high-quality service, multiple cabin classes, and reasonably priced tickets. Travelers can enjoy hot meals and a variety of other services from friendly cabin attendants on brand-new aircraft.


Bali is an island and province in the Republic of Indonesia. Comprising about 18,000 islands, Indonesia is the only country in Asia that straddles the equator.

And visitors can also sample the world's most valuable coffee, Kopi Luwak, produced by local civet cats!


Known as India's "Silicon Valley," Bengaluru is an IT hub and a popular destination for Japanese. Its pleasant climate makes it an attractive place for Japanese expats to live.
Accessible by local bus from Bengaluru are the ruins of Hampi, capital of the ancient Vijayanagara Empire. The majestic complex of buildings is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Da Nang City

The port city of Da Nang is Vietnam's third-largest after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. It has become a hot destination for tourists in recent years, with numerous resort hotels springing up along its beautiful seacoast and "White Sands" beaches.
About 30 to 40 minutes by car from Da Nang is Hoi An, whose Ancient Town district is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is famous for its monthly Lantern Festivals.
