Due to the government’s preventive measures against COVID-19, travelers cannot use public transportation to get to their place of self-isolation after arriving in Japan. However, it is possible to hire a private car service.

In order to assure you of a safe, secure, and convenient trip, we are offering customers with a special discount when they hire a private car service.

Eligible customers

Customers who have purchased Business Class tickets departing from Frankfurt to Narita (tickets must have been issued).

Qualifying routes

From Frankfurt to Tokyo, Narita (JL408) only (JAL flight number and operated by JAL)

Applicable period

Flights arriving in until March 31, 2022

Details of the service

When using MK Group private car service, we offer a discount of JPY 30,000 to Business Class customers.

  • This discount is applied per one private car service. Even if there are multiple passengers boarding one vehicle, the discount cannot be combined.

How to reserve a private car service


First, please reserve a private car service through the MK Group by telephone. The telephone numbers are below. English, Chinese and Japanese Languages only

  • Please contact MK Group directly for all inquiries relating to cancelling or changing your private car reservation.


After you have reserved your private car service, please apply for a discount through the JAL European Reservation Center.

  • We will confirm your eligibility and ask for information such as your flight, date and the telephone number you registered when reserving your private car service.
  • If there are any changes in your flight, booking class, or date of travel, please inform us by the reservation deadline below.
  • Any traveller in the same reservation record may apply on behalf of the entire party.

Reservation deadline

Please complete Step 2 above five days before your date of arrival in Japan during the Reservation Center’s business hours.

(Example) If your date of arrival in Japan is December 10th, by December 5th during the JAL Reservation Center’s business hours, local time.

Important Points

  • If your flight or booking class has changed and you have not informed the JAL Reservation Center of the change within the reservation deadline specified above, you will not be eligible for a discount.
  • Please contact MK Group directly for all procedures relating to reserving, changing, or cancelling your private car service. The JAL Reservation Center cannot process such inquiries.
