JAL Terminal Relocation at Frankfurt Airport

Flights operated by Japan Airlines will move to the new Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport, effective May 19, 2026 (Tuesday).

The Skyline train connects Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 in about 8 minutes.

Self-service kiosks with convenient multi-language support makes check in and baggage drop off  easy ー available anytime from the morning of your departure date.

After security, the area features shops, restaurants, a children's play area and barrier-free access for everyone.

About the Promotion

Earn double miles on eligible flights when you pre-register for the campaign! Bonus miles are equal to your standard flight miles earned and will be credited automatically, giving you twice the rewards on every eligible flight.

Eligibility Period

  • Campaign Registration Period: April 2 (Thursday) - August 31, 2026 (Monday)
  • Travel Period: May 19 (Tuesday) - August 31, 2026 (Monday)

Advanced Registration is Required.

Customers who register during or after boarding their flight will not be eligible for this offer.

Customer Eligibility

This promotion applies only to customers registered with the JAL Mileage Bank (JMB).

  • This promotion is open to all JMB members, regardless of the registered region.

Route: Frankfurt - Tokyo (Narita)
Flight: JL408 and JL407

  • Only flights with JL flight numbers are eligible.

Eligible Booking Classes

Individual fares eligible for JMB flight mileage accumulation are eligible for this promotion in all booking classes.

  • The campaign may be cancelled, have its duration amended, or its terms altered without prior notice due to unavoidable circumstances including but not limited to natural disasters or infectious disease outbreaks.
  • Flights that are cancelled, subject to equipment changes, or not actually boarded will not be eligible for mileage accrual.
  • In cases where the same flight qualifies for both this campaign and another promotion, bonus miles will not be awarded cumulatively.
    Only the higher amount of bonus miles will be credited.
