Passenger Rights Regulation EC261/04

Japan Airlines, as a carrier operating from the EU, is compliant with EC261/04 which regulates passenger’s rights in case of an irregularity on flights from EU airports. Should you be denied boarding or if your flight is cancelled or delayed for more than two hours, please ask at the Japan Airlines check-in counter or boarding gate at your EU departure airport for information explaining your rights, particularly with regards to compensation and assistance.
