International Passenger Service Charge Exemption for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW)

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) may be exempted from paying the International Passenger Service Charge.
If you are applicable for the exemption, please contact our reservation center for booking instead of purchasing through the website.

The possesion of the proof of exemption such as a valid Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC), Balik Manggagawa (BM) document or other acceptable exemption document shall be declared upon purchase of tickets at our reservation center and those shall be surrendered by the departing Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) at the Japan Airlines check-in counter at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila. In case of failure to surrender exemption document, the International Passenger Service Charge will be collected from the passenger.

If Passenger Service Charge has already been paid by Overseas Filipino Worker(OFW),
for departures on JAL flight from Manila, it can be refunded at the JAL check in counter upon check in with proof of exemption.
If departing on another airline from Manila, please contact the airline concerned.
Refunds after travel, may be refunded at Manila International Airport Authority(MIAA) Administration Building with proof of exemption.
