Credit card applications may be declined after a review of credit worthiness. If declined, please be advised that you will be ineligible for the promotion. Promotion code must be entered during the application process. You will be ineligible to the rewards if you do not apply with the promotion code. This offer is only available for new card members.

By applying for the credit card, you understand and agree that all disclosures and other important documents related to the card that are required by law will be provided to you only in English.   2. See the Rewards Terms and Conditions in the Summary of Credit Terms for details, including earning, redemption, expiration or forfeiture. JMB miles will expire. JMB miles earned are valid until the end of the 36th calendar month from the month in which the qualifying credit card transaction is made. There is no limit on earning JMB miles. Bonus miles will be accumulated to the registered JMB account within 3 months after spending qualified amount. Balance transfers, cash advances, or fees such as an annual fee do not qualify for Purchases. Purchase transactions posted to your account outside of the promotion period do not qualify as eligible purchases. We will notify via email if the JMB number entered at the time of application does not match upon account opening. Please note all miles you earn through the JAL USA CARD will not be accumulated until the correct JMB number is confirmed.
  3. If you re-apply or have more than one JAL USA CARD and have received the First Flight bonus previously, you will not receive multiple bonuses.
  4. For maximum purchase of JPY200,000 per international or domestic flight. Not applicable on JAL code share flights operated by other airlines. Not applicable on Japan TransOcean Air (JTA) flight.
  5. Applicable on certain JAL international flights only.
