Sendai Pageant of Starlight

A city glimmering with hope

The Sendai Pageant of Starlight has become an end-of-year tradition. In this event, 600,000 LED lights are used to decorate the Japanese zelkovas that line Jozenji-dori Avenue, a symbol of Sendai. This year will be the 30th time the event has been held, and it will start from December 6 to commemorate the opening of the Sendai Subway Tozai Line. There is a single pink bulb among the 600,000 lights, and it is said those who discover it will find happiness.
