Best time to see: Late March to early April
Tokusa Hachiman Shrine, one of the prime sightseeing spot for weeping cherry trees in west Japan. The cherry blossom tunnel formed by the multitude of weeping cherry trees and Yoshino cherry trees extending their branches from both side of the 370-m long approach is a beautiful sight that must be seen. Many cherry blossoms trees, including Yoshino cherry trees, winter cherry blossom trees, and Satozakura cherry trees, also grace the area around the approach. During the flowering period, paper lanterns are also lit to allow visitors to enjoy the fantastic sight of cherry blossom viewing at night.
