Best time to see: Late March to early April
Meguro River is particularly popular among Tokyo's many cherry blossom viewing spots. Approximately 800 Japanese Yoshino cherry trees vie in bloom, reaching over the water's surface from the banks, over a span of about 3.8 km. The lit up view at night is again exceptional. The river banks are lined up with restaurants and shops brimming with personality, along with many shop stalls. Enjoy cherry-blossom viewing with sparkling wine in hand at this fashionable viewing spot second to none in the midst of the city.
