Greetings

Thank you for your ongoing support of the JAL Group.

Ever since January 19, when the Enterprise Turnaround Initiative Corporation of Japan (ETIC) confirmed its support for JAL as three Group companies applied to commence the Corporate Reorganization Proceedings, we have been able to continue operations as per usual to this very day. We owe this to the immense support received from everyone and for this I wish to express my deepest gratitude. At the same time, I sincerely apologize for all the anxieties and concerns caused by these events.

It has been 1 month since taking on the responsibilities of President of the JAL Group. During this time, I visited the frontlines related to flight operations, listening to what staff had to say, and did my best to support them in maintaining safe and stable operations. Simultaneously, I was also actively engaged in reviewing our business operations to create the revitalization plan of the JAL Group.

Without forgetting for even one moment, the gratitude for receiving public assistance, we will operate flight by flight from the heart through the consolidated efforts of all JAL Group staff, so that we may accomplish a successful recovery of the JAL Group as soon as possible.
