Error in JAL Domestic Check-in System

On August 2, 2009, at 2:26pm, an error occurred in Japan Airlines domestic check-in system which affected check-in processes for domestic flights at airports in Japan.
It resulted in the cancellation and delay of domestic flights, and web check-in services were also interrupted and unavailable till the following morning at 2:40am.

We sincerely apologize to customers who were greatly inconvenienced by the incident.
We will investigate the cause of the system glitch and will strive to prevent such occurrences in the future.
