Introducing Exciting Changes in the ”FLY ON Programh and ”JAL Global Clubh. Starting January 1, 2009, rules of the ”FLY ON Programh and ”JMB Global Clubh will be reinforced and become more rewarding and user-friendly. Make the most of the various new services that make your air-travel more comfortable.

Starting from January 1, 2009 “JMB FLY ON ProgramhChange in Qualification Standard for Service Status Memberships of JMB DIAMOND and JGC PREMIER will be qualified based on not only the designated number of FLY ON Points but also designated number of boarded flights.

From January 1 2009(flight date), the qualification standard for FLY ON Program Service Status will be as follows.
◆ “Number of boarded flights” will be added to JMB DIAMOND and JGC PREMIER status qualification requirement. Membership of all FLY ON Service Status will be qualified based on number of boarded flights as well as number of FLY ON Points.

JMB DIAMOND | At least 100,000 FLY ON Points | At least 100,000 FLY ON points or boarded more than 120 flights of a minimum 35,000 FLY ON Points
JGC PREMIER | At least 80,000 FLY ON Points | At least 80,000 FLY ON Points or boarded more than 80 flights of a minimum 25,000 FLY ON Points
SAPPHIRE | At least 50,000 FLY ON Points or boarded more than 50 flights of a minimum 15,000 FLY ON Points
CRYSTAL | At least 30,000 FLY ON Points or boarded more than 30 flight of a minimum 10,000 FLY ON Points
JAL Global Club | Membership qualification JMB Members who have attained JMB SAPPHIRE Service status or higher are invited to the JAL Global Club under certain conditions.

※ JMB Members must take at least 4 flights on JAL Group Airlines with fare eligible for JMB mileage accumulation during the applicable year to attain each FLY ON Service Status.
*Only JAL Global Club members are eligible for JGC PREMIER SERVICE.
◆ JMB Members of each FLY ON Program Service Status can receive the following oneworld services.
“JMB DIAMOND” “JGC PREMIER” ⇒ oneworld EMERALD Services
“JMB SAPPHIRE”⇒oneworld SAPPHIRE Service
“JMB CRYSTAL”⇒oneworld RUBY Service

Extended ”FLY ON Program” Point Bonus Campaign! Additional ”FLY ON Program” Bonus Points will be awarded on the basis of the actual fare paid for each flight. Campaign period January 1,2008 ~ December 31, 2009

starting from January 1,2009 | Suspension of Mileage Expiration | In regard to JGC PREMIER members, Mileage Expiration will be suspended during JGC PREMIER membership period.

Generally, the validity of the mileage is until the end of 36 months after the boarding date. Mileage expiration will be suspended during JGC PREMIER membership period. (This means miles will not expire during that period.)

※ When service status of the JMB FLY ON member changes from JGC PREMIER, all mileage in his/her account will be valid until the end of the 36th month after the date of service status change.

The validity of the mileage is until the end of the 36th month after the month of boarding.
January 1, 2009~
Mileage expiration will be suspended during the JGC PREMIER membership period. | You can earn miles more advantageously.

starting from April 1, 2009 | Increase in Flight Bonus Rate | For JAL Global Club Members who hold JALCARD(CLUB-A), JALCARD Flight Bonus Rate will be increased!

The JAL Global Club (JGC) is an exclusive club designed to cater to the needs of experienced travelers who are JAL Group airlines’ most valuable customers.
From April 1, 2009(flight date) the JALCARD Flight Bonus rate for JAL Global Club Members who hold JALCARD (CLUB-A) will be increased from 25% to 35%.

Until March 31, 2009 25% of sector mileage
From April 1, 2009 35% of sector mileage

※ JALCARD Flight Bonus Miles for JAL Global Club Members is not awarded in conjunction with FLY ON Program Mile-Up Bonuses and other JALCARD Flight Bonus Miles. 35% of sector mileage will be credited as JALCARD Flight Bonus Miles for JAL Global Club Members including current JALCARD Flight Bonus Miles. Higher rate will apply.

From January 1,2009.Termination of awarding JAL Coupon equivalent to 10% of in-flight purchase total amount JAL Coupons are no longer awarded to JAL Global Club members who hold JALCARD(CLUB-A).

Until December 31, 2008, JAL Coupons equivalent to 10% of the total purchase amount (sum of fixed price) had been awarded to JAL Global Club members who hold JALCARD (CLUB-A), when they purchase in-flight regular and duty free items valued at more than \10,000 during one calendar year while onboard JAL/JALways/JAL domestic flights. This service has been on December 31, 2008.

JAL Hotels room rates applicable for JAL Global Club members services will be expanded

The following services exclusively offered for stays at JAL Hotels within Japan reserved with 20% discount from regular room rates (10% discount for stays at JAL City Hotels) will be applicable to stays reserved with JMB special discounted room rates.

10% discount for dining at JAL Hotels in-house restaurants and bars (5% discount for JAL City Hotels) is applicable regardless of hotel stays or hotel room rates.

Termination notice of the extra free baggage delivery service of JAL Flight Caddie Service for JAL Global Club members

The free baggage delivery service of 1 extra piece of baggage between the specified addresses in Japan and a specified Airport in Japan, for JAL Global Club members flying on JAL Group International flights will be terminated as of March 31, 2010 (date of pick-up/acceptance at Airport).
