A Guide for Passengers with Disabilities (JAL PRIORITY GUEST SUPPORT)

Travel Support for all Priority Guests on Japan Airlines and American Airlines code share flights

Call transfer service from JAL Reservations to American Airlines (American) support desk is available for JL Priority Guests traveling on code-share flights on American. Also Medical Information Form is no longer necessary to be presented upon check-in. In addition, JAL Medical Information Form can be used for code-share flights on American as long as medical oxygen or medical equipments are not used during the flight on and after 01 August 2011.

FOR RESERVATIONS ON JL/AA CODE-SHARE FLIGHTS

All priority guests traveling on code-share flights on American may contact JAL reservations for any changes to reservations effective on and after 01 July 2011. For cases which require medical oxygen or medical equipment during flight, the call will be transferred to the American Support Center.

JL MEDICAL INFORMATION FORM IS AVAILABLE FOR JL/American CODE-SHARE Flights

JAL Medical Information Form may now be applied for code-share flights on American effective 01 August 2011 when medical oxygen or medical equipments are not required during the flight,

 Your call will be transferred to American Support Center for the JL/AA code-share flight after arrangements have been completed for the JAL flight.

  • *2 Medical Information Form (JAL format and American format) will be required.

PROCESS TO AVOID BRINGING THE MEDICAL INFORMATION FORM

Please fax the Medical Information Form in advance to the JAL Priority Guest Center. Upon receiving the form, the details will be validated to verify whether travel will be permissible. On and after 01 August 2011, you are not required to have the Medical Information Form at the time of check in on the day of departure.

Partnership of JAL Priority Guest Center and AA Special Assistance Coordinators

JAL and American support desk will coordinate to make your travel more comfortable by following your requests (such as seat request, acceptance of service animals onboard etc). This partnership of JL and American will make your travel easier than ever.
