
Taking a flight directly after scuba diving poses a risk of decompression sickness, as onboard air pressure is less than on the ground. The initial symptom of the illness is joint pain in the hands and feet.
If you experience joint pain during a flight, remain still and try to keep warm. Tell the cabin attendant. Wait at least 24 hours after scuba diving before boarding a plane.
Scissors of all types, even those used for medical purposes for ostomate should be treated exactly the same way as restricted articles for carry-on baggage and therefore, should be put in checked baggage. Please prepare the pre-cut flange before security screening.
You may bring your own child seat into the cabin. BUCKET TYPE (Forward/Rear facing type and Convertible type) Child Seats which satisfy either one of the following standards may be used onboard.
A certain product of Child Seat out of BOOSTER SEAT TYPE Child Seats without a seat back or sides and VEST AND HARNESS TYPE Child Seats with only a seat back but no seating surface or sides can be used.

We have no curbside luggage check-in at all airports. Please have someone stop at JAL's check-in counter in the terminal to request curbside wheelchair assistance. We will arrange to have assistance provided quickly.
We are ready to help you with medical transportation.
If necessary, we can equip our aircraft with a stretcher or medical oxygen bottles. But passengers are requested to arrange their own medical escort, medical equipment and transportation between the hospital and airport.
We will take care to maintain a degree of privacy so that the passenger, escort and family can relax onboard our flight.
