Important Information

Jetstar Japan requires that all passengers, including children and infants travelling with an adult, provide valid photographic identification. Expired identification will not be accepted. Accepted forms of photographic identification include:
Juki-card with photo (Basic Resident Register Card), valid passport, driver's license, student identification

Changes To Awards after Mileage Redemption


Changes of flight number and flight date are permitted.

Type of ticket Deadline

2 days* prior to either the reserved departure date or the new departure date, whichever comes first (not including the day of departure).

  • *In case of changes, e-tickets must be re-validated or re-issued.
  • * Effective from November 16, 2017, changes made by phone will be subject to a Ticket Service Fee per ticket.

Not Permitted

Changes of the traveler's name, the flight sector, the class of service, the routing, reversing the direction of travel, or the type of award are not permitted.

Mileage Reinstatement Service for Unused Awards

After an award has been booked, the mileage used for the award can only be reinstated for totally unused awards by paying the refund charge. All reinstated mileage must be returned to the JMB account from which it was redeemed. More information can be found here.
