Jetstar Japan (GK) Award Tickets

Important Information

Jetstar Japan requires that all passengers, including children and infants travelling with an adult, provide valid photographic identification. Expired identification will not be accepted. Accepted forms of photographic identification include:
Juki-card with photo (Basic Resident Register Card), valid passport, driver's license, student identification

Deadlines for Award Reservations

Domestic Award Tickets Award reservations will be accepted no earlier than 10:00 (Japan time) on the same calendar day as the flight date, two months prior to departure and no later than 12:00, two days prior to the departure date.
(When the same calendar day does not exist two months earlier, reservations will be accepted from the last date of the month two months prior to the departure date.)
International Award Tickets Award reservations will be accepted from 10:00, 300 days prior to flight departure. The deadline for award reservations will be 12:00 (*1), 2 days prior to flight departure.

The Return Trip Confirmation Service is not available when making reservations.

  • *1Japan Region is based on Japan time. American Region is based on US Pacific Time. Europe, Middle East & Africa Region is based on UK time. Asia & Oceania Region is based on Hong Kong time.

    If the above deadlines fall outside the operating hours of the Call Center or JAL Office, the deadline will be the previous business day.

  • *Depending on the partner airline, award bookings may be accepted within 300 days prior to the date of departure.
  • *Awards for partner airlines must be requested after all flights in the itinerary are open for booking.

How to Request Awards

Find the JMB International Award Reservations Desk/JMB Center of your membership region:

  • *Please be sure you dial the correct telephone number.
  • *GK Domestic Award Tickets cannot be booked via domestic reservation services, the JAL website, or the JMB Domestic Award Reservations Desk.
  • *Effective from November 16, 2017, requests made by phone will be subject to a Ticket Service Fee per ticket.

At the time of making the reservation, you must already have in your JMB account the total amount of mileage that is needed for the award. If you do not have enough miles, you will not be able to make a reservation.
Miles will be deducted and the award ticket issuance process will be started immediately upon completion of the award reservation/request.
Waitlists and advance seat selections are not permitted. All flight sectors must be confirmed.Award tickets for open itineraries cannot be issued.

Redeeming Awards with the JALCARD Family Program (Japan Region only)

For members in the Japan region who have registered with the JALCARD Family Program, primary members and family members who are 18 years of age or older will be able to request awards by combining family miles. Family members under 18 years old cannot combine family miles to request awards. For more details, please refer to the notes on redemption of awards using the JALCARD Family Program.

How to Review, Change, or Cancel Awards

On the JAL website, awards can be reviewed but cannot be changed from the International Award Ticket Reservation Confirmation/Change/Cancellation screen.

  • *Awards cannot be canceled or changed on the JAL website. Please contact the JMB International Award Reservations Desk/JMB Center of your membership region.
  • *E-ticket itineraries/receipts can be displayed and printed from the JAL website's reservation confirmation page.
