The distance of the surface sector is included in the total distance of award itinerary.
For travel inclusive of economy class travel applied on/after March 28, 2012 between France and the French Caribbean, and between France and Indian Ocean, 'economy class' required mileage table will be applied for both the main deck for M-class(Vacance Class) and the upper deck for Y-class(Economy Class).
TAXES AND FEES:
Each award is subject to government-imposed taxes and fees which must be paid by the customer when award travel is ticketed.
Taxes and fees vary by itinerary.
In addition to mileage, award tickets are subject to carrier imposed fees( including Fuel Surcharges if applicable) and other taxes and fees(Departure Tax, Federal Inspection Fees, Passenger Facility Charges etc.) imposed by each government/airport etc.
Following are example of taxes and fees and carrier imposed fees (if applicable) charged to the customer in addition to required mileage for travel on single carrier departing from U.S. to gateway city on direct flight on round-trip basis (single round-trip, two segments basis).
AIR FRANCE (AF): U.S. to France round-trip: minimum $612.10, maximum $966.20.
