How to Use PiTaPa "Shop de Point" Awards

PiTaPa "Shop de Point" Awards allow PiTaPa card holders to exchange 10,000 miles for 10,000 PiTaPa "Shop de Point" points (equivalent to ¥10.000). The PiTaPa "Shop de Point" can be used (and automatically deducted) for the payment for using the PiTaPa traffic (train and bus) from the month after the date of exchange.

Required Mileage for an Exchange

10,000 miles are exchanged for 100,000 PiTaPa "Shop de Point" (equivalent to ¥10,000).
  • *Only two exchanges within a maximum of 20,000 miles can be made a year (April to the following March).

How to Apply for and Receive Awards

Check

Check the number of miles in your account.

Apply

Apply to exchange accumulated mileages in your JMB mileage account for PiTaPa "Shop de Point" Awards.

JAL Website

JALCARD individual members (with card credit function) who hold a PiTaPa card can apply for awards online at www.jal.co.jp/.(available only in Japanese) You are required to provide your JMB membership number and 6-digit PIN number when applying for an award.

Receive

The Shop de Point will be credited up to one month after the exchange procedure is completed.

Use

The PiTaPa "Shop de Point" can be used (and automatically deducted) for the payment for using the PiTaPa traffic (train and bus) from the month after the date of exchange.

JALCARD personal members (with card credit function) who hold a PiTaPa card

  • All PiTaPa cards, except ANA PiTaPa card are eligible.

  • Only JALCARD personal members (with card credit function) who hold a PiTaPa card can use PiTaPa "Shop de Point" Awards. All PiTaPa cards are eligible for use, except for ANA PiTaPa card.
  • PiTaPa "Shop de Point" Awards cannot be refunded to JMB mileage accounts.
  • PiTaPa "Shop de Point" Awards cannot be exchanged for other JMB awards.
  • PiTaPa "Shop de Point" can only be credited to the account of the PiTaPa card holder.
  • JAL assumes no responsibility for the loss of PiTaPa "Shop de Point" due to the misappropriation of PiTaPa membership number or any other reasons.
  • Uses and restrictions for PiTaPa "Shop de Point" are subject to change without notice.
  • The PiTaPa "Shop de Point" can be exchanged for JMB mileage. For more information, click here.(available only in Japanese)
  • Members who have been registered for JALCARD Family Program can combine mileage and the combined mileage can be exchanged to PiTaPa "Shop de Point" Awards.
