  • A fee-based, in-flight Wi-Fi connection service that supports passengers' smartphones, notebook computers and other wireless LAN devices.
    Upon connection through Wi-Fi, you will be able to enjoy browsing the web, checking your email, and updating social media networks.
    Each electronic coupon entitles you to unlimited Wi-Fi access during your flight.

    In February, customers with unused coupons will be identified. These applicable customers will be sent an email informing them that inflight Wi-Fi will be offered free of charge and that their miles will be refunded to their respective JMB accounts.
    In early March, 1,200 miles will be credited to each applicable customerís JMB account.

    • * All customers who have unused coupons will be included in the refund procedure and credited with 1,200 miles, even if one of their coupons has already been used.

    Each electronic coupon entitles you to 24 hours of Wi-Fi access (24 hours from your first login).
    *Promotion code will be sent by email within 3 to 5 business days after applying for this award.

How to use the service on JAL International Flights

Steps to take before flight departure

Step1

Please switch your device to Airplane Mode (*) before the cabin doors are closed for departure.

(*) This setting has different names depending on the device and carrier. Other names include Self Mode, OFF Mode, Offline Mode, Flight Mode, and Personal Mode.

Using the service during your flight

Step2

Turn on Wi-Fi on your device.

Please configure your device as follows.

iPhone / iPad / iPod Touch Ensure that "Settings" ⇒ "Airplane Mode" is enabled, then turn on "Wi-Fi"
Android Ensure that "Settings" ⇒ "Wireless & Networks" ⇒ "Airplane Mode" is enabled, then turn on "Wi-Fi"

Step3

On your "Connect to wireless network" screen, please select "JapanAirlines".

Step4

When you open your browser, the In-flight Wi-Fi site will automatically be displayed.
Enter the user name and password provided to you and enjoy your in-flight internet connection.

  • In-flight Wi-Fi service is offered using communication satellites. For this reason, your network connection may be unreliable or unavailable, depending on the time and location of the aircraft.
  • Some lags in speed might occur when downloading or streaming videos.
    Wi-Fi network may be congested due to heavy demand.
