* In order to use the JALCARD Family Program, a JMB member and family member (18 years old or above) must possess a JALCARD and register for the JALCARD Family Program beforehand.

Notes on redemption of awards using the JALCARD Family Program

• Details of mileage for a main member and sub-member will be shown respectively on the JAL website or mileage record report after your registration. If a Family Program member would like to have only his/her mileage record shown on the JAL website, the main member must contact the JALCARD Family Program Desk and advise the staff accordingly.
• Miles accumulated by each member will be credited to each respective account. Miles accumulated in each member's account will be deducted in order of expiring date of mileage when redeeming mileage for awards. In case of the same expiring date, mileage will be deducted in order of main member and sub-member.
• When a JALCARD Family Program member redeems mileage for awards, combined mileage of family members will be deducted if there is not any request. If a Family Program member wishes to use his/her miles only, please contact the JALCARD Family Program Desk.
• Main members or sub-members who are 18 years old or above will be able to request for the award. Member under 18 years of age cannot make a request for award by combining family mileage.
• Awards can be used by the main member, his/her spouse, JMB specified applicable relatives and spouses of brother/sister in laws.
• When refunding, miles will be returned to the member's account where miles were originally deducted.
