JAL Charity Mile

In FY2013, The JAL Group will implement the Charity Mile Project as a part of CSR activities. We encourage JAL Mileage Bank members to support our charity partners by donating miles towards environmental conservation and charitable activities.

2013 PROJECT #3

We ask for your support to the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Awareness activities and Breast Cancer Research through Charity Mile.

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers diagnosed in women, but it is also known that when diagnosed and treated at an early stage, the possibility of being cured increases. Please support the educational activities to spread the importance and necessity of early detection and rapid cure and Breast Cancer Research by donating your miles to "Pink Ribbon" Charity Mile.

October 15, 2013 (Tue) 10:00 (Japan Time) - November 30, 2013 (Sat) 23:59 (Japan Time)
Mileage for application
Donation will be accepted in units of 3,000 miles on JAL's website.
  • * Counting one mile as one Japanese yen, JAL Group will donate 50% of the equivalent amount in cash each to "Breast Cancer Network Japan - Akebono Kai" and Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

We encourage you to support activities in developing countries through Charity Mile.

Help make safe drinking water available to students in Indonesia and reduce plastic bottle garbage by donating your miles to "Let's Deliver Water Filters to Schools in Indonesia!" Charity Mile.

2013 PROJECT #1
We ask for your cooperation in support of nature conservation activities with Charity Mile.

Would you like to support activities to acquire 100ha of forest and conserve AMAKURO habitat in order to turn over abundant forest inhabited by national Special Natural Monument Endemic Rabbit (commonly known as Amakuro) which only inhabit in Amami Oshima and Tokunoshima Island to next generation as national asset?

"Let's Encourage Tohoku with Mile Donation Project" Travel Memories

We have received many mileage donations from JMB members through our special project "Let's Encourage Tohoku with Mile Donation Project" launched in showing our gratitude to JMB members reaching 25 million.
We will introduce the letters of travel memories received from the winners (people affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011) of this project who have enjoyed their trips by the donated mileage.
