JAL Charity Mile

In FY2013, The JAL Group will implement the Charity Mile Project as a part of CSR activities. We encourage JAL Mileage Bank members to support our charity partners by donating miles towards environmental conservation and charitable activities.

2013 PROJECT #2

We encourage you to support activities in developing countries through Charity Mile.

Help make safe drinking water available to students in Indonesia and reduce plastic bottle garbage by donating your miles to "Let's Deliver Water Filters to Schools in Indonesia!" Charity Mile.

Application period
July 1, 2013 (Mon) 10:00 (Japan Time) - September 30, 2013 (Mon) 23:59 (Japan Time)
Mileage for application
Donation will be accepted in units of 3,000 miles on JAL's website.
  • * Counting one mile as one Japanese yen, JAL Group will donate the equivalent amount in cash to Kopernik Solutions.

2013 PROJECT #1
We ask for your cooperation in support of nature conservation activities with Charity Mile.

Would you like to support activities to acquire 100ha of forest and conserve AMAKURO habitat in order to turn over abundant forest inhabited by national Special Natural Monument Endemic Rabbit (commonly known as Amakuro) which only inhabit in Amami Oshima and Tokunoshima Island to next generation as national asset?
