Advance preparations are important to safely transport precious artworks. On receiving your requests for airport delivery time, build-up instructions, attendance/escort by curators, etc., we will provide the best solution to ensure safe and smooth transportation.
Arrangements can be made at the transportation site, while receiving requests from the accompanying curator. We will meet requests to the maximum, such as instructions on build up and break down, and specific handling procedures for artworks.
JALCARGO has supported fine art transportation for over 30 years as an air transport professional. We have transported many Japanese and overseas national treasures, such as collections from the National Art Museum, Louvre Art Museum and MOMA. Expertly trained professionals will handle artworks with utmost care, based on JALCARGO's unique know-how and trusted expertise.

First, we will offer the most suitable forwarding plan.
The first thing we do is book flights and space.
We also make detailed arrangements suiting the pieces of art to meet shipping requirements to the maximum. For example,
"Can they be stacked?" or "In what direction should they be loaded?"

After the forwarding plan is decided, we make advance preparations.
We will avoid congested hours and places for delivering the shipments in and out of the warehouse, shorten the flow of movement to the maximum to achieve the shortest route and time.
Expertly-trained frontline staff will confirm and hold briefings on these detailed check items, and conduct a simulation on the day of handling.

If actual cargo dimensions are different from the plan, we will ask the curator 's requests, and make arrangements to build up shipments properly.
We will flexibly meet the customer's request for cargo storage in case the flight is cancelled.
We take the following steps, as necessary, to transport artworks safely.

JALCARGO provides professional art transport services according to the customer's request for as many as xx orders a year. We have cooperated especially in shipping fine art for art exhibitions in Japan and overseas, and have met the extremest of customers' requests.
