Special Cargo Currency Conversion resolution

1. Amendment on ICB 765 Effective 01 OCT 98, round off unit except Minimum charges should be amended to "1" instead of "0.01". 2. The local rule of CC shipment   a) CC shipments from EUR countries to Japan.     (1) Since the TTS rate for EUR will be 05 January 1999, TTS rate of EUC which will be published on 28 December 1998 should be applied.     * This is tha special measure only for this time.     (2) If AWB is issued in current local currencies. TTS rates between the current local currency in EUR countries and JPY which will be published on 28 December 1998 should be applied.   b) CC shipments from EUR countries to the countries other than Japan. Thelocal rule of each country should be observed.     * Timetable -For your information- Further to ICB 765, following timetable for implementation of Euro is announced:     ⋅ 31 December 1998 Fixed Conversion rates between each currency and EUR will be published. (Please refer table on ICB 765 page 2) ⋅ 01 January 1999 IATA Tariff Database will be converted into EUR unit. But rates in current local currency will be indicated on TACT rates book until 31 March 1999. ⋅ 01 April 1999 Only rates in EUR will be published on TACT rates book.
