CONVERSION RATE TABLE
USED FOR RATE CONSTRUCTION
This is to inform you of a conversion rate table used for all construction of rates, charges and other transportation charges specified in US Dollar otherwise specified in local currency.

In accordance with agreement agreement reached at the 1998 Composite meeting of Cargo Tariff Coordinating Conferences, the data base change to euro will implemented 01 January 1999 as reflected in Resolution 033k.

In reviewing the construction of rates from 1 January 1999, the Conferences agreed that the IATA Clearing House (ICH) rate for the ECU to the USD would be used until the ICH quotes rate for the euro to the USD.

The Attachment hereto therefore reflects the July 1998 ICH rate between the ECU and the USD and is reflected for each EMU country as a euro rate. This rate will be used for constructions during the period01-31 January 1999.

Applicable Period : October 1, 1998 - January 31, 1999
Basis of Rate : IATA Clearing House Five Day Rate-July, 1998
