Special Year End Domestic JALCARGO Flights

December is usually the busiest month for JAL's domestic cargo service, and the company puts on special flights every year using cargo and passenger aircraft to help deliver cut flowers from Okinawa to Tokyo and home delivery items from Tokyo to Okinawa.
There has been strong demand from customers this December as well, and JALCARGO plans to add a total of seven special return flights (three flights with a B747-F cargo aircraft and four flights with a B777-300 passenger aircraft) on the Haneda = Naha and Narita = Naha routes, during the especially busy period of December 20 to 29 (details below).
The belly compartment of a B777-300 passenger aircraft, usually parked at Haneda overnight, will be used for the Haneda to Naha route during the late night and early morning periods. The belly of the B777-300 can carry 44 LD3 containers, which is 3 times the capacity of the B767-300 belly, and 1.5 times the capacity of the B747F belly.
JALCARGO is ready to add more special domestic cargo flights to meet customer demand in the future as well.
