The following excess baggage charges apply to surfboards, regardless of the total number of pieces of checked baggage. A set of windsurfing equipment includes one windsurfing board and a mast, boom and sail.
Windsurfing and Bodyboard equipments will not be handled as sports equipment, it will be handled as a normal checked baggage.

(Note)Due to cargo compartment limitations, please contact your nearest JAL Group branch, sales agent or reservation center if your surfboard or windsurfing equipment exceeds the board size exceeds 300cm (118 in.) in length.

Furthermore, the sum of the linear dimensions of two pieces must not exceed 273 cm (107 in.).	3.5 Charge A charge equivalent to 50% of the excess baggage charge applies to the 1st surfboard. Three charge of the excess baggage charge applies to the 2nd surfboard exceeding the free baggage allowance (the total linear dimensions exceed 203cm (80 in.)).

*Bicycle should be single seat or tandem seat and non-motorized.

• The foldable bicycle is included in the normal free baggage allowance.
• Assuming it is within the free baggage allowance, a foldable bicycle is considered to have a total linear dimension not exceeding 158 cm (62 in.). The normal excess baggage charge applies when it exceeds.


• The bicycle other than the foldable bicycle will be handled as a normal checked baggage.

(Note) Preparing bicycle for travel;
• Bicycle pedals must be removed or fixed inwards.
• Handlebars must be fixed sideways.
• The bicycle must be contained in a protective case or bag.
• Passengers may wish to deflate the tires to reduce risk of damage.
