Criteria Based on Membership Status

Members of JAL Global Club, JMB DIAMOND, JMB SAPPHIRE, and JGC PREMIER may use the departure airport lounge service. Since the lounges that you can use and the entry criteria may differ between airports, please check the criteria based in advance.

Criteria Based on Boarding Class

Depending on the cabin class indicated on your boarding pass, you are welcome to use the departure airport lounge service. Since the lounges that you can use and the entry criteria may differ between airports, please check the criteria based in advance.
Ticket First Class/Executive Class/Economy Class Normal Fare
Lounge service for passengers connecting between
international flights and domestic Japan flights.

Lounge may be used when departing on JAL, JALWAYS, JTA, JEX, JAC, HAC, or RAC flights.

  • Lounge service may not be used when traveling on non-JAL Group flights.
  • The lounges are open in accordance with the departure times of JAL Group flights.
  • Use of a JAL Group lounge after your arrival is not permitted.
  • Please be aware that you may not be able to use a lounge if it is already full.
  • Passengers checking in with a JAL Mileage Bank reward ticket may also use the lounge service based on the Usage Requirements by Boarding Class.
  • Passengers traveling in Economy Class on a code-share flight operated by another airline may not use lounge services even though they have a boarding pass with a JAL flight number. First and Executive Class passengers in the same situation are asked to use that airline's services, depending on the cabin class.
