We would appreciate your understanding and cooperation when making reservations to enable as many customers as possible to effectively use our seats.
JAL Group reserves the right to cancel a customer's reservation, wholly or in part, in the following situations.
Customers who have several bookings which cannot be actually used in terms of the itinerary (hereinafter referred to as "duplicate reservations") will be contacted, informed of the timeline, and requested to clear their reservations by the specified timeline. If reservations are not organized by the timeline, we will leave the flight with the latest time of reservation or the flight with the earlier departure date if the latest time of reservation is the same, and cancel all other reservations.
Please book under the name of the customer who will actually board the flight. We will not accept reservations under a fictional or fabricated name.
If you wish to change or cancel a flight, please do so by the departure time of the flight. If you do not board a booked flight without changing or cancelling the flight in advance, we reserve the right to cancel any onward reservations in your itinerary.
You may not change the name of a passenger with a reservation to another person's name. It is also forbidden to transfer tickets. Furthermore, when refunding a ticket after purchase, cancellation or refund fees will be collected.
When making reservations, please provide phone numbers where you can be contacted during the day and at your destination(s).
It is possible that other airlines contact directly to passengers when the itinerary includes segments other than JAL.
Please purchase a ticket by the timeline specified when making a reservation.
If you wish to wait for a cancellation, please request only the required flight.
We do not accept reservations for itineraries that do not satisfy minimum connecting times of each airline.
