Transfers

If you are transferring from another airline to Japan Airlines, check-in will be carried out one hour prior to departure at each departure gate on the boarding concourse, so please approach a member of staff at the departure gate. Please note that there is no JAL transit counter at the Incheon Airport boarding concourse. If you are using the KAL Lounge prior to check-in, please be sure to inform a member of the lounge staff when entering the lounge.

Please be aware that international flights and some domestic flights use Incheon International Airport, but most domestic flights use Gimpo Airport. To reach Gimpo Airport, please use the airport bus or take a taxi.

It is possible to check baggage through on international transit flights via Seoul provided that the connecting flight departs within 24 hours. However, baggage cannot be checked through from international flights to domestic flights, or vice versa.

* If you are transferring from an international flight to a Korean domestic flight, you must go through Immigration at Incheon Airport. Then, please collect the baggage you checked in at departure and proceed through Customs.
