When arriving at the gate from the boarding bridge, please follow the "Arrival" sign to Immigration if you intend to enter Dubai, and please follow the "Transfer" sign to Security for transfer .
If you arrive at the airport terminal by bus, there is only one bus depot at Terminal 3.

Arrivals

At the Arrival area, there are stairs/elevators, immigration screening, baggage claim and customs.

Arrival regulations

Immigration

Japanese citizens are not required a visa for stays of 30 days or less if the purpose of travel is tourism. If traveling with no visa, your passport must be valid within the next 6 months.

Baggage Claim

Please check the TV monitors to find your baggage carousel.
The baggage trolleys are free of charge.

Customs

Please proceed to the red exit if you have something to declare, and the green exit if you have nothing to declare.

Pets

Prior application is necessary if you wish to bring your pet, as the transportation environment within the aircraft needs to be prepared.

Please also be sure to check with the embassy or quarantine station at your destination for animal quarantine information such as import restrictions and required documentation.

Concourse/Departures

At the concourse, there are toilets, airport information counters, elevators and stairs/escalators to Emirates First Class Lounge/Emirates Business Class Lounge. At boarding area for Departures, there are toilets, airport information counter and First Class/Business Class/Economy Class check-in counters. Once you pass through First Class/Business Class/Economy Class immigration control, there are First Class/Business Class/Economy Class security check. At security area, there are elevators only for First Class/Business Class and Economy Class Sky-Train .

Departure regulations

Carry-on baggage Security check

Before checking in, there is a security check of carry-on baggage.

Check-in

Please go to the Emirates counter in Terminal 3.
The check-in counters are designated by your cabin class.

Immigration

Please present your passport and boarding pass. There is no departures card to complete.

Please use the elevator or escalator to go up to the departures concourse. On the departures concourse there is a shopping mall with lots of duty-free shops.
Please check your departure gate number on the TV monitors.
At Dubai Airport, you hand in your airline ticket at the departure gate (except for e-tickets). Please ensure you keep it to hand so you can present it to departure gate staff.
Please note that boarding gate for Emirates flights closes 15 minutes prior to departure, so please ensure that you have extra time to go to the waiting room.

Airport Tax

As a general rule, airport taxes are charged at the time of ticket issue.
