In the immigration control area of Terminal 1, there is immigration control and toilets (wheelchair accessible), at the baggage claim area, there is transit counters, and Once you pass through customs, there are toilets (wheelchair accessible), airport information counters, currency exchange offices, elevators, and exits to outside.

Quarantine

Not required when entering the country from Japan.

Immigration

  • Your immigration card will be automatically issued by the official at Immigration. Please sign it and hand it in to the official.
  • Some visas are sticker-type visas (single/double/multiple) that are stuck inside passports, and some are document-type visas (multiple) with photographs attached.
  • Please note that you cannot enter the country by invitation only.
  • IMPORTANT
    • If you have a multiple visa, please ensure it is returned.
    • The immigration card returned to you will be required when you exit the country.

Transfer

International → International
(Baggage can be checked through)
After arrival, please check in for your connecting flight at the Transfer Counter just before Immigration.
After checking in for your connecting flight, and going through Passport Control and Security check, please proceed to your departure gate.
  • *If you are transferring to a JAL international flight and your baggage is checked through to your final destination, you may proceed directly to the JAL departure gates if you have your JAL boarding pass.
International → Domestic
(Baggage cannot be checked through)
Please collect your baggage after arrival on your international flight. Leave the baggage claim area and proceed to your left, where you will find the check-in counters.
Domestic → International
(Baggage can be checked through)
After arrival on your domestic flight, please proceed to the check-in counters in the international departures lobby. Please check in at the international check-in counters by presenting the baggage stub for the baggage checked through from your domestic flight.
  • *If you are transferring to a JAL international flight and your baggage is checked through to your final destination, you may proceed directly to the JAL departure gates if you have your JAL boarding pass.

Customs

Documents required
  • Please also make a currency declaration at this time.
  • If you are carrying cash totaling US$10,000 equivalent or more, this must be declared.

Pets

Prior reservation is necessary if you wish to bring your pet, as the transportation environment within the aircraft needs to be prepared.

On the 1st floor, there are check-in counters, toilets and stairs/escalators to the 2nd floor. In the 2nd floor Departure Lobby, there are toilets, Fast-Track currency exchange offices and Business Class Lounge. Once you pass through customs, immigration control and security, there are toilets and stairs/escalators to 1st floor boarding gates.

Departure regulations

Check-in

  • Check-in opens 3 hours prior to departure.
  • JAL check-in is located at counters 78-82 on Island 4 of the departures lobby, level 1.

Customs

Documents required
  • Passport
  • customs declaration form (required only if you have items to declare)
  • IMPORTANT
    • If you are in possession of items worth $3000 equivalent or more and you do not make a customs declaration, your items may be confiscated.
    • You need to be particularly careful if you are in possession of items worth $10,000 or more.
    • You must make a declaration when entering the country if you are in possession of items worth $10,000 equivalent or more.
Information for Business Class passengers about Fast Track (Customs, Immigration, Security check priority lane)
  • Business Class passengers are able to use Fast Track, a priority lane through Customs, Immigration and Security check.
  • The Fast Track entrance is located on level 2, to the left of the general inspection area. (There will be airport staff at the entrance.)Please refer to the map below.
  • Please present your boarding pass to gain access.
  • The Customs or Immigration officials may sometimes close the Fast Track lane without prior notice.
     If Fast Track is closed, please go to the general inspection area. An airport staff member will guide you to a Business Class booth within the general inspection area.

Immigration

  • To carry out immigration checks, please proceed to Sector A on level 2 of the lobby.
  • Business Class passengers can proceed to Fast Track and use special lanes for Customs, Immigration, and Security check.
  • Please show your passport, visa, departure card, and boarding pass.
  • IMPORTANT
    • If you have a multiple visa, please ensure it is returned.

Carry-on baggage

  • The carry-on baggage security check is located immediately after Immigration.
