Terminal 3

At Terminal 3, there are stairs, elevators, immigration screening, baggage claim, baggage claim area for Domestic Flights and customs.

Arrival regulations

Quarantine

There is no quarantine check for passengers entering from Japan.
If you are arriving from a contaminated area or via a contaminated area, you must be vaccinated against yellow fever.

Immigration

A visa is required. (Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months if applying for a visa upon arrival.)
Please present your passport and immigration card to the immigration officer.

Customs

If you are carrying or are in possession of items to declare, you must complete a customs declaration form.
Passengers with nothing to declare do not need to submit a customs declaration form.

Pets

Prior reservation is necessary if you wish to bring your pet, as the transportation environment within the aircraft needs to be prepared.

Please also be sure to check with the embassy or quarantine station at your destination for animal quarantine information such as import restrictions and required documentation.

Terminal 3

On the 3rd floor, there are ITC Lounge, toilets and stairs/escalators from the 2nd floor.At the 2nd floor boarding area, there are stairs/elevators and check-in counters.Once you pass through immigration control and security, there are elevators to ITC Lounge on the 3rd floor, stairs from transfer security (for International Flights)on the 1st floor and elevators to Plaza Premium Lounge on the 4th floor.

Departure regulations

Check-in

Check-in opens from 16:00.

To enter the international terminal, you need to show a valid flight ticket for that day. People coming to see you off are not permitted to enter the terminal.
When making changes to your reservation, please complete the necessary procedures such as changing the date on the air ticket in advance at the JAL counter downtown. You must bring a valid air ticket for that day to the airport.
Even if you have an electronic air ticket, please ensure that you present an "E-Ticket Passenger Receipt" reflecting the completed date change of the departure flight.

Immigration

Please show your passport and boarding pass to an immigration officer.

Customs

After Immigration, please go through Customs before proceeding to the departures lobby.
If you made a customs or currency declaration upon entering the country, please show your passport and declaration form.

  • IMPORTANT
    • Antiques, artwork (please contact the Antiquities Archaeological Survey of India), animal skin, and leather products cannot be taken out of the country.

Carry-on baggage

At the entrance to each departure gate waiting room is an area where you will be searched and have your carry-on baggage X-rayed. Films can be X-rayed without causing any issues.
All carry-on baggage (large or small) must be affixed with a luggage tag so that it can be stamped to show it has been X-rayed.
Without this stamp, baggage will be opened at the departure gate and the contents will be examined there.
Baggage tags and stamps are not required for goods (shopping bags) purchased at the duty-free shop in the waiting room, but you may need to present a receipt for verification at the time of boarding.
Carrying liquids on board the aircraft is also restricted, so please pack them in your checked baggage.

Please note that it is forbidden to take matches or lighters on board an aircraft in India, both in carry-on baggage and checked baggage.
