About the renewal of domestic airport system which is planned to be released from February to March 2019

Thank you for your continuous patronage to the JAL Group.

JAL Group plans to renew the systems related to boarding procedures at domestic airports from February 5, 2019 to March 12, 2019 in order.
There is no impact on flight operation, or suspension of various systems.
Airport counters and call centers may be congested during this period. Please complete your necessary procedures with plenty of time.
In addition, on the day of your flight, please make sure to bring your e-ticket, certification code or other necessary items for boarding, and come to the airport as soon as possible.

  • *There is no system renewal in Komaki Airport, Matsumoto Airport, Shizuoka Airport, Amakusa Airport for the code share (joint operation) flights.

For customers who reserved multiple connecting sections

During the above-mentioned period, if you reserved multiple domestic connecting flights, you may not be able to check-in your flights to final destination by automatic check-in machine due to the coexist of current system and new system. Please complete your check-in procedures at the airport counter.
"JAL Touch & Go boarding (no need to check-in)" service may also not be available for partial connecting flights, please complete your check-in procedures at the airport counter or perform boarding procedures again at the connecting airport.
In addition, we will keep your baggage to the final destination in any above case. Please inform JAL staff when you depositing your baggages.

For customers who reserved the international ticket that includes Japan domestic sector

During the above-mentioned period,if you have connecting flights between JAL Group domestic flights and international flights, there will be no impact on the international flights operation, but please be sure to arrive at the airport as soon as possible because airport congestion is expected during this period.
