Announcement: Changes of Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) Lounge

Thank you for flying with JAL.
With the opening of the newly established lounge at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG), operation of the current Sakura Lounge will be terminating; the last day of operation will be for flights departing on November 14, 2016. Beginning November 15, 2016, we have transferred service to the newly established Shanghai Airport VIP Service Lounge (SAA No.39 Lounge).The new lounge will offer extra seating and space, as well as the addition of hot food and other features and services.

New Lounge Overview

  1. Lounge Name
    Shanghai Airport VIP Service Lounge (SAA No.39 Lounge)
  2. Location:
    After passing through the baggage inspection area, please proceed to the fourth floor via the escalator on the left-hand side.
  3. Number of Seats:
    To make your visit even more comfortable, the lounge will offer about twice the number of seats as compared with the current lounge.
  4. Facilities:
    Shower room, changing room, baggage cloakroom, free Wi-Fi
  5. Meals:
    Offering food from the popular restaurant Jade de Jardin, which has locations throughout China, the chef will prepare noodles, dim sum and other dishes right before your eyes.

    Jade de Jardin was the first ever restaurant in mainland China to be awarded a single star by the Michelin Guide Shanghai. Established in 1999, it has over 20 locations in Shanghai (its main base), Beijing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Macao and Hong Kong. It is well known for its original Chinese dishes, focused on Jiangnan-style cooking.
