Special Handling at Baiyun International Airport (Guanzhou)

Handling of lithium ion battery and cell phones/cameras/ PCs, etc. loaded with lithium ion battery or lithium battery will be as follows.

(Checked baggage)

• Lithium ion battery and lithium battery, and cell phones/cameras/ PCs, etc. loaded with lithium ion battery or lithium battery are prohibited from transport.

(Carryon baggage)

• Lithium ion battery containing 2 grams of lithium or not exceeding 100Wh is permitted in carryon baggage, regardless of the number of pieces.
• If 100wh~160wh, two lithium ion batteries are permitted in carryon baggage, provided the airline at the departure airport approves.
• If 160wh or above, not permitted in carryon baggage.

• * For batteries carried onboard, measures must be taken to prevent a short circuit.
