- For your safety, the glaze used on our mugs contains no lead. To ensure your added peace of mind, we also insist on lead-free transfer printing, thus completely eliminating lead from the manufacturing process.

- Our mugs feature a charming silhouette of a traditional bucket symbolizing the extraordinary tranquility of rural Japan. The mug's unique combination of graceful feminine curves and vigorous masculine lines echoes the beautiful proportions long favored by Japan's leading artists.

- The subtle shape of our mug makes it extraordinarily comfortable to hold and handle. The effortless way each mug curves into your hand and its wide handle spreads pressure shows how highly we respect and cherish our First Class passengers. Our new mug is also big enough for larger hands, offering you the freedom of being able to caress the mug handle in your palm rather than cramping your fingers.

- The renowned "Hasamiyaki" pottery works of Nagasaki Prefecture have thoughtfully crafted a hollow inside our new mug's handle. This makes it lighter to lift and easier to handle and wash. More conveniently still, the handle's lower end is flared ensuring stacking, storing and carrying multiple mugs is simplicity itself.

- Made using only otherwise discardable off-cuts from Japanese wood mills, our chopsticks help preserve precious natural resources for generations not yet born.

- Incredibly moisture- and rot-resistant, the cypress trees of Aomori have been used as a resilient building material throughout Japan's long history. This timber's many unique characteristics include a soothing scent and the strong antibacterial quality imparted by its essential oils.

- Ingeniously shaping the area of wood that touches your hand into a narrow holding spot ensures our chopsticks are incredibly stable when used to pick up food.

- In making our chopsticks, we have used only the strongest section of the cypress tree. Yours to take home as a gift, these chopsticks are presented in a bag made of Japanese paper. We hope you enjoy using them for many, many years.
